Leading to 2025, India's domestic air passenger traffic touched a record high on 17th November 2024, as airlines carried 5,05,412 passengers on Sunday (November 17) and the number of flight departures was at 3,173, according to the latest data from the civil aviation ministry

Commenting on this new travel feat, Jyotiraditya Scindia, India’s Union Minister for Civil Aviation, wrote on X (formerly Twitter),

“With this, there is no stopping us from becoming the world's largest aviation market!”

As India is projected to be the world’s third-largest economy by 2027, businesses are adapting to the new normal, and their travel needs are witnessing a paradigm shift.

As per the ABP Live report of 8th March, women comprise 14 percent of the total entrepreneurs in India, which works out to 8 million. Also, 10 percent of all formal enterprises are owned by women. About 20.37 percent of the MSME industry in India is made up of women-led businesses, which also employ about 23.3 percent of the labour population.


This demographic shift has translated into an increased demand for safe and reliable corporate car hire services. According to research from AMEX Global Business Travel, 57 percent of organisations have a policy allowing young employees to extend business trips with vacation time. While 74 percent of seasoned business travellers wish their company’s travel policy had a budget for entertainment, as per Swapnil Shinde, co-founder and CEO of Mezi.


American bleisure travellers made an average of 6.4 business trips annually, 88 percent of which were domestic (12 percent were international), according to a 2024 Expedia study on bleisure travel patterns.
